2014 has kicked off with some incredible opportunities and projects. In January, Cristina Cardenas and I were awarded a second P.L.A.C.E. Initiative grant from The Tucson Pima Arts Council to collaborate on a year-long series of art workshops for the Corazon de Tucson community organization. This has been an incredible experience so far, please stay tuned for future updates about this project. So far in the month of April I managed to: turn 29!, publish my latest issue of Soundtrack, finish the painting phase of The Whistle Stop Depot mural, complete more signs for Old Tucson Studios, participate in a chalk festival, commence work on a residential mural, and win an award for a drawing in the Louis Carlos Bernal Annual Juried Student Exhibition!
Thanks to all the people who have supported and encouraged me, I could not do this without my fantastic community of family, friends, and clients!
